Components for suspension upgrade & refresh
2008 E90 335xi. I'm getting rid of the stock shocks, struts, and springs, and installing Bilstein B8s and Dinan D100-0925 springs for a slight lowering. Making sure I'm replacing everything else I should while I'm at it. The car has new thrust rods and control arms. I'm ordering front strut top mounts and end links. Is there anything else I need to replace? Rear mounts, etc? Thanks!

Thanks. I ordered the full rear mount kit from FCP; I'll look into swapping out the Lemforder tops for Monroes.
I won't need shorter end links for this little drop, will I? |

https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1145344 I would recommend adjustable endlinks (longer) in the front if you're originally base suspension. I don't think it would be a huge difference if it was coming from sport suspension though. I haven't needed shorter ones for the rear on mine (originally base xi Suspension)

The drop is very mild, and suspension geometry is nearly unchanged. The aftermarket (shorter) endlinks are not needed...I had OEM endlinks with zero problems.

ECS Tuning, the forum sponsor has the whole package of hardware, bushing, etc. ready to for for front and back. Get that set. And for Bilstein, you need 22mm instead of OE 21 mm socket tool for the allen wrench to fit into. I asked the help desk there and they told me 21 mm for Bilstein, but I knew better and ordered 22 mm. Been there before with last E90.
