Any of you electrical/wiring wizards know what this clip/resistor is?

BMW dealership found this spliced into my OBD wiring - 2 wires were cut and respliced into the black clip with a resistor is on the other side.

Can you get a better photo showing the text on top?

Also can you open the plastic box and take a picture?

BMW saved me the resistor. When I pick up the car, I will take it and snap a pic.
