I plan on purchasing a used 09 E90 very soon, Being that the 09+ iDrive used a hard drive instead of dvds for maps, is it true that only the dealer can update maps, and if so how much would that cost ?

Or is there a way for us to do it ourselves ?

I know in the pre LCI's people are using the new map images from torrents ....

On a side note : is there a backup cam available in the euro market that we can retrofit ?
and is there a dvd in motion bypass we can hookup for watching dvds while the car is moving? Like grounding a wire in most after market navi head units :-)
