Well valve cover, gasket, oil filter housing gasket, oil cooler housing gasket, oil filter, oil change, and coolant flush didn't fix my issue.. Car ran like shit and still smoked like crazy, looks like it's time I start shopping for turbos...

Kind of fucked up tho cuz it's been to BMW 3 times and each time they tell me "turbos are fine".. wtf..!

Crazy. What are you looking for? I may have a bad injector or worse. It's knocking but doesn't sound metallic, more plastic. Ideas?

Hmmm, mine tick like crazy when my car is first started but I was told that's how the index 12 injectors are supposed to be.. Did you get urs replaced under the injector recall..??

And as far as turbos go, I found a company in Germany that sells the CHRA "center housings" for $250 each brand new with warranty but they don't describe whether it's for front or rear turbo and I read that they're different so idk about that.. I was going to get some from RB but if I could get new ones for $500 total I'll take my old ones out and swap center housings myself and throw it back together.. I don't ever plan on tracking my car and didn't expect to exceed 450hp anyways so I think I'll be fine that way.. The only reason I'm a bit hesitant on some VTT Stage 1's, Hexons, etc is because from what I could tell none of them come with a warranty and that's important to me..

They were replaced but these have close to 150k on them. The aftermarket ones I think have a warranty on parts but not labor. You should decide how much he you want ultimately and buy accordingly. That's up to you but I always say do it once, do it right.

Well I found that VTT is selling oem replacements for $1k and they handle around 400-450hp with proper tuning and stuff, but I also found a place in central Florida that will rebuild mine with a warranty for $300 each..

And I got brand new injectors from Rock Auto for like $120 shipped each.. I'm selling my old ones for $50 shipped each since they ended up not being my issue lol..
