What after-market brake pads do you recommend? Where to source them.
Or should one stick with OEM.
No track days.

Akebono Ultra Ceramic.
No noise, good for street driving and best of all, very low dust.
I had them on my old E93 335i coupled with DBA T3 4000 rotors.
Worked perfectly for everyday driving with a few spirited runs in every now and then.

Recently serviced mine with Zimmermann rotors and pads, good bite and quiet, but they are dusty pads like the Texar originals. They're a good cheaper option - I bought mine through clickable automotive.

Probably should have given the Akebono pads a go!
