2F30: Charge-air temperature sensor
I've started occasionally throwing this code, accompanied by 2FA3: no coding.
Reading tells me that 2FA3 is benign and can be ignored. Is this correct? Something to do with flashing the car with MHD. I'm assuming the best course of action is to replace the Charge-air temperature sensor. Where is this located, and is there only one? The odd thing about this is that it throws a limp mode for a second or so and then it goes away. Only happens at WOT. As soon as I let off the gas and press it again, the car works perfectly. |

It was a dead charge air temperature sensor. Ripped one when the pipe blew, then the brand new OEM replacement happened to be a dud. Second new one worked perfectly.
