10j ET15 question

Hi
E91 2012
I want to get a set of wheel and the rear's have 10j and et15.
I want to put 255/35/18 on it, and i am afraid that will not fit in the fenders.....

You're right, they won't fit. That's too low of an offset on a 10" wide wheel.

I use square front 513M (factory 18" wheels that come on the base F8X M3/M4) on my E91, and they are 9" wide with +29 offset using 255/35/18 and a 5mm spacer (rear wheels only), and it's flush in the rear. There's no way a wheel one inch wider with 9mm less offset would fit on stock fenders.

For reference, the rear wheels of the 513M F8X are 18 x 10 +40. Most people who run them on a non-M E9X using staggered sets use a 10mm spacer, making them ET30, which has 15mm more room than what you're trying to fit.

In summary, you need a 10" rear wheel with a high 20's offset to make them work. The 255 tire would also be stretched on a 10" wheel.
