Usually $1000-2000 and you should be able to buy it back.

Where is it now? In their possession?
Dud they already pay you off?

Usually they just deduct the price from your payout. If you buy it back, the title stays in your name and does not go to salvage title.

I've done this several times and then sold parts off them and then sold the shell with 'clean title'. IDK or care what the the buyer does with it. Just make sure you go to a title place and get it out of your name and into their name.
I've sold twisted wreck shells that the buyer said they were going to 'rebuild', yeah right.

Buying back is a good deal if you have a place to store it and break it down.
I've made $3-5k on every buy back I did.

Still looking into buying it back, but it would have to be a track only car. The interior was open to the rain, and it flooded the back seat to the point where there is standing water on the back seat floor.

Gross.

But I took pictures of what I have, so help yourselves.
