E30 2009 N43 balance shaft delete

Hi

I have a 2009 320i with that amazing N43 engine. It has a kind of a strong rattle like sound coming from oil pump area. If I first start it there is nothing and as soon as I put on gear the rattle starts or if I play with the pedal and leave it to idle it rattles. But when I press pedal for higher rpm it goes away. I have no codes I have driven it for months while and oil filter is clean. Took the pan off and for me everything looks good(not sure how to identify if balance shaft is making it).Chain was done like a year ago. I have read that you can remove oil pump balance shafts is it true?
