Walnut Blasting North Atlanta

Looking for an Indy or someone that's done the Walnut Blasting before anyone out in the Alpharetta area or there abouts?

Anyone want to join in and see if we could do a "Group Buy" with a trusted indy or enthusiast?

I've been calling around seems like Flying Wrench is the most reasonable. Just curious if anyone has any feedback the google reviews all look positive.

Iconic Performance and Design quoted me $300, give them a try. I have not done it yet, though.

That's a great price. I called them twice today and got no answer. I did leave a message earlier this morning too. I have not heard back yet. I did not get the impression that there a BMW specialist shop from reading the reviews.

Did you ever find anyone to do it? If so, who did you go with and how much? Looking to get it done myself.

Haven't done it yet. I've been meaning too take it over to flying wrench in Kennesaw but it's an hour drive for me and they would need the car most of the day. Let me know who and how much you do yours for.

Matt and his crew @ Flyin Wrench are great! One of the cheaper shops that do blasting.

Tried Iconic and it didn't go well. Called them and was told I would get a call back after lunch. 3 hours later I texted them and they told me $375 which is a great price. I then tried to set an appointment and my text went ignored.
Will try calling Flyin Wrench in a week or two. Hopefully there pricing is as good but more responsive.

You may want to try Harrisons Motorsports in Alpharetta, they are a shop dedicated to BMW and racing them. That's where I take my car.

Not a big fan but they seem ok. Had some work done but had to question a few things. I'm no mechanic and didn't have the car on a lift to validate what they were saying was 100% accurate so have to take them on their word. They would not be my first choice.

For example. I had the oil change done at the stealership and they found OFHG leak which I knew about but said nothing about oil pan leaking or VCG leaking. Took the car in to Harrison less than a month later and they said I also had oil pan leak and VCG leak. So ??? kind of raises questions. I'd rather look elsewhere. Not saying they were right or wrong. But the delaership rarely misses an opportunity to sell you on work. That's all I'm saying.

Thanks Man I finally got my car done. Felipe hooked me up. $250 WOW. I went over to his house he had all the tools. Great guy and fantastic job. I had no idea how involved the process was but he made it look so simple. No wonder the stealership cost $800 . $250 well spent. Check out the before and after pics.

This guy is an enthusiast and is doing this on the side to pay for more mods lol so if your looking for a Great mechanic that know's what he's doing at a fraction of the cost look him up on https://www.facebook.com/groups/347140878962994/ or just PM me and I'll send over his contact info.

Have no idea which port etc.. these were some before and after pics. I can say the car run's a smoother and less hesitation. I can certainly tell a difference. I have about 60k miles on mine and I had never had this done before.

Anyone else need walnut blast done or any other service done, let me know...i dont frequent the forums alot but you can message me on facebook: Felipe Hurtado

Wish I would have known about this guy. I would have had him do it instead of Flyin' Wrench.
