Broken front level sensor contact
Hello,
I disconnected my front level sensor on the control arm, the sensor that measures the height of the car in order to adjust the headlight angle. It didn't want to come apart and I had to use quite a bit of force to get it off. When I was putting it back together again i broke the contact. :/ I found a repair kit för an e39 with a contact that looks very similar/identical to the E9Xs; https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genui...-/283453697644 I found this contact on eBay which should fit, i think; https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Wirin...53.m2763.l2649 Last edited by DialedIn; 06-26-2019 at 10:43 AM.. |

I bought the contact in the link and it was almost identical.
The only difference was that the original one was limited to 3 pins out of 6, and the new one had 6 pins out of six available. So the new one fit perfectly. |
