Hello - N54 335i
Hi everyone, just picked up a Manual e92 335i and looking forward to lots of time spent working on it (and under it). Oh and driving it too
I had an E46 330i for 4 years, had to sell it once I stopped being able to keep up with the maintenance. Back then I was doing everything on my own. I've told myself that this time around I'll take the e92 in for anything hard. See how we go... Some of the things on my to-do list: Exterior restoration - paint, aluminium trim, rubber etc. Interior restoration - leather, plastic trim, steering wheel trim (any suggestions on sprays for Cream Beige interiors? Colorbond 1870 is so expensive) DIY jobs - brakes, fluid flushes, belts/pulleys, standard services. On the fence about DIY or BMW Indy - engine mounts, water pump/thermo Here's a photo of the e92's engine bay, it needs a wash before I let it out in public! And also an old photo of the e46. I'll be putting an order through on FCPEuro in the coming week. If anyone wants to join the order to save on shipping shoot me a PM. Take it easy folks, Mister_Radge Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne |

Cheers guys. Got stuck in today, vacuum and carpet cleaning. Need to work out what I do with these cloth mats which are pretty worn out...
Bought some Autosol Aluminium polish to do the external trims next. Socket, yep it's Space Grey. Cheers for the offer, I might take you up on that sometime! I've seen a bit of your build thread, love the commitment and the DIY's especially. I've put the clips onto the order, I'll probably go ahead with it late next week. We'll sort out how to get it to you later. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...69#description https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/vai...ip-07147122912 |

Socket-Yes mate, will do.
Today's job was to pick up a rear bumper from Mybimmer to replace my existing one which had a pretty bad scratch when I picked it up, looks much better now. I was using a cheapo 1/4inch ratchet and I've promised myself that I'll upgrade before the next job! Edit: Not sure why the photo is upside down sorry. |
