Washed the weights off

whilst jetwashing the car today, I managed to wash off 4 wheel weights - can I stick them back on with any old glue or what?

Do you know which weights go where?

I would think something like Araldite would do the trick.

Yeah , you can see where they have been stuck on.

Double sided tape worked VERY well for keeping plate covers on at UK2. Don't see why it can't work for your weights.

Ive had this before. Dont think they will go back on easily.

Also now my rears need balancing cuz of it.

A splodge of Silicone sealant on the back of each weight should do the trick,just weight for it to cure before driving off.

Make sure the wheel surface is grease free

Are all the weights the same?

If not, then they all need to go back in the same place.

Personally, I'd get the wheels rebalanced, only a couple of quid

Before you restick the weights, remove the original adhesive using a bit of tar remover - be quick about it as you don't want the tar remover going through the lacquer on the wheels. Does work extremely well though

from when i've seen the wheel monkeys do their stuff, it's not just about the weights, but also where on the wheel's circumference they go... As NFS says, it's better to get the wheels rebalanced IMO.
