mines has been in the port since monday, called the 800# today and it tells me vehicle is at port awaiting shipping vessel.. will i make it in on tasco?

Haha, actually, yes. I made this thread before I realized how fast everything was going. I was expecting an early June delivery, but now it looks like a late May, so we kind of took over my own June thread with May deliveries.

Yep, nothing on WW, but my 800# message this morning is that I'm at the port awaiting a vessel and that there is no shipping information yet.

Just spoke with the folks at the 800 number. The order was placed a week ago today, and I am scheduled for production in week 23, which would be the first week of June.

Seems like a long ways out. And given that timeframe, now I'm feeling unlikely for delivery in June at all, especially if I want to do PCD.

If I've already been approved for the 3.9%, does that late of a delivery jeopardize it? Seems like I might run up close to that 60 day window...

Im new to the board (although I have been lingering for the past month or so). I order a Jet Black 335i coupe, black leather, dark burl, ZPP, ZSP, heated seats, Nav and satelite on 4/30. However, for whatever reason my dealer didnt put the order through until 5/6...so I thought that might put me out of June delivery...

Thanks to all the advice on the board, I called the 800 number and just talked to a rep who said I was scheduled for a week 20 production!! This is next week right (week of the 11th)? The rep also said the OC site is delayed and just plain wrong even more than usual because of some merger or something which is screwing it up.. (it currently says my new 335 is a 2001 740iL).

I live in NJ...when should I expect to get delivery for a week 20 production?? Who else has a week 20 production?

Thank god there are boards like this to share our misery and past the time...its hard to understand the feeling unless you are actually waiting for your baby.

I'm week 21 so maybe we'll get on the same ship. But yea the OC just straight up stinks. It hasnt been updated yet since i got my production # nearly 2 weeks ago. Well neither has the 800 automated system

I was also scheduled for a week 20 build, naturally as impatient as I am I was also calling the 800 # (which of course I just did right now...just in case). So when I called on Monday my car was in production and to be completed on the 13th, so about a week early. Thats funny that you had a different car on the OC. When they merged the OC site and the general site my car suddenly became a 128i Convertible.


Anyway, my understanding is that you should expect delivery about 3-4 weeks after the completion date. And production is usually about 1 week from the date production begins. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Godot - it sounds like your figuring a week from completion date to getting on the ship? Is it too early to figure out the likely ship for a May 13 completion date? I'm guessing the ships leave every few days?

Hey Eddie,
Check out the Wallenius Wilhelmsen shipping schedule here:

Basically from the date your production is complete, figure around 3-4 days for a train to take your car from the factory to the port. Then using the Wallenius Wilhelmsen (love that name) schedule, find the next ship that is scheduled to depart Bremerhaven and arrive in NYC and Charleston. If your car gets to the port less than a couple of days before the ship departs, you may or may not make it on that one, in which case look for the next ship making the same route.

So if you're finished on May 13, you probably won't make the Courage which departs on 5/16. The next ship after that is the Integrity, leaving Bremerhaven on 5/20, hitting NYC on 6/2 and SC on 6/7. (I'd guess your car will be routed thru NYC.) Once it lands, figure a few more days for preparation and transport to your dealer.
