Angry Alternator diodes keep shorting

Recently I posted about an issue I was having regarding my radio, and how it will not work in accessory mode or at all if the engine isn't physically running.

I am now on my 4th alternator in my 6 months of ownership. First one was faulty, replaced with a parts store reman and got a few months out of it without any issues then audio issues started happening. It was tested and deemed faulty because of a shorted diode.

I then decided to try a used one I got off LKQ because I figured it would be better than aftermarket. It ended up being a Bosch reman, which means it had been replaced on the car it was taken off of. Tested it right after installing, same issue, shorted diode (must've been faulty from the start.)

Just a month ago, I sucked it up and ordered a Bosch reman off of rockauto, installed it, tested it, everything tested good, but my radio still wouldn't work in accessory mode or with the car on with engine off. Even fully charged and tested the battery on a bench tester, which deemed it good to return to service. Went to test the car today and low and behold, diode is shorted.

Is there something else I should be looking at? I'm thinking maybe the battery is the weak link causing all these issues; That's the only electrical part that hasn't been replaced. When I originally bought the car, I had to swap a different battery in just to get it home it was so dead.

Should my first plan be getting this battery replaced? Just today the battery was reading 12.4v with the car off, and ~425CCA. I'm not sure how it's that low, as the car never sits, it's always being driven. I even went ahead and re-registered the battery to the car just to rid that of being a possibility.
