E90 Subwoofer install with HKs

Would anyone be able to show me some direction, when fitting a Subwoofer to a Harman Kardon system.

In terms of whether there is a plug and play kit out there, Or anyone who can install it and still use the controls on the iDrive?

it's complete PIA
you need Technic harness for that (you can google Technic e90), but you will have muzzy sound due the reason that sub in trunk will play not in line with other speakers.
to get ideal sub connection you need remove HK, get Hifi system or build complete custom and replace aftermarket with tunable DSP, then can align all sound and crossover all as needed
the another way to get more bass is replace underseat speakers with more sensible, there are plenty examples of such upgrades on that forum
