Sorry I felt compelled to start a debate when I read: "The 128i is impossible to get the car to rotate effectively like the FRS. It will naturally push, no way of eliminating that."

That's a terribly erroneous statement that keeps getting perpetuated here. You can't blame the car when you literally set the suspension up to understeer...

Under the knife at eFab. And that is one of two massive ER Dual Oil coolers in front of each wheel, which should be at the top of anyone's list who plans on tracking an N54. Full track car build thread here.

It's at Raceway Park of the Midlands just south of Omaha. I think you need to make the pilgrimage some time in the future!!

Man, would love to. Eric just sent me over this pic tonight. D/S door bars are getting done. Basing the design off of the ones used in Porsche GT3 Cup cars.

Please, elaborate on how'd you fix it then...

Sure, 128 is easy to rotate on throttle, but it's not ideal. Also...you cannot throttle lift and get the car to weight transfer due to stupid throttle control. When you lift you're still adding anywhere from 10% to 15% throttle

In STX, you can modify pretty heavily (just about anything you'd want to), so, the answer would be completely dependent on how you currently have the car set up.

I personally have more front-end grip than rear (oversteer). Right there your statement is BS.

If I made my front end any stiffer I would not be improving anything. I would be reducing front end grip. I am just about picking up the inside front wheel right now...

You can run a modified dme tune in STX, right?

400/700# w/TCK DA Shocks
UUC Front and Rear Bar
DiffsOnline 30/90 3-Clutch setup with 40 ft-lbs static lock
-3.4* Camber up front, -1.9* Rear
0 Toe up front, 1/8th total toe in rear

You can run a modified DME yes, but wording is tricky on what you can and cannot change.

Here is a pretty good video of when the car was good. Induced oversteer was very possible:

Personally, I think the car is setup too stiff for the given tire classing of STX (200TW). You didn't need the sway bar upgrades with 400/700 springs. And, you already know that 400/700 is heavily biased toward under-steer... That is an effective wheel rate of 380 lb/in up front and an effective wheel rate of 220 lb/in out back... Right there the front end is 60-70% stiffer than the rear. The pics you've posted here of your car show this. Both the stock sway bar setup, and the aftermarket sway-bar setup, are also under-steer biased in how much effective wheel rate they add under cornering which further exasperates the F:R bias differential.

WTF? Those are ridiculously huge. 12 piston each. That's what I have total on all 4. What size rotors will you run?

12 piston? Meh. This is nothing. The real brakes are made by Tar-Ox.

16 pistons per caliper:

These are a direct fit for RS4, RS5, Lambo:

16-pot! Wow, I need me those!

Completely trolling you guys. BBK is all about increasing performance while decreasing unsprung weight. I saw those on IG and couldn't help myself. It'll either be a 4 or 6 piston BBK for me when it's time to upgrade.
