Hi all,

I recently picked up a fully loaded 2006 330i with a broken i-Drive unit. I sent the unit out to be fixed and re-installed in the car and now everything works! Except voice command. I press the voice button on the steering wheel or in the center console and nothing happens.... Is it possible there is another module that's gone bad? Any tips to diagnose?

Most likely the repair shop sent you a pre-coded used unit without new FSC codes.

No, it's the same unit I send them. I had written my info on the unit itself with sharpie, so I know I got the same one back....

Voice control not working is a FSC issue. Did it work before the CCC died?

Dunno. I bought it with a broken i-Drive. Not sure what FSC is. My quick google is failing me. Can you illuminate?
