Got my rims yo! haha Hyperblack CSLs on SG e92 328xi
As the title says the pics that follow are the Velocity 19" Hyperblack CSL staggered on a Sparkling Graphite E92 328xi. Whew~ what a mouth-full. The setup is 235/35/19 with 40mm offset up front and 265/30/19 with 35mm offset in the back. Haven't seen these rims in these colors on a E92 on this forum yet I don't think.
Couldn't wait to share these with everyone so I took them in the middle of the night in my garage =) Anyhow enjoy! |

The rims looks nice!
I think you could use a drop though. I think the xi's sit a little high stock and I don't think there is a sports package is there? Maybe get a set of lowering springs like some of the other guys have done. Sweet rims though.

Thanks, yea the xi is almost a inch higher then a non sport package 335i, and xi sport package doesn't drop the car (not that I have it). My springs are supposed to come in tomorrow, but I'm still wondering if it's worth the hassle or not. I don't mind the look too much it looks nice, but it FEELS higher in the driver's seat

Lower it.
It will be worth the hassle and your car will look much better. You won't regret it. Especially with the nice new rims you got!

krnamja...i'm busy this week might be free next sunday...if you ask around and find good prices, go for it...anywhere from 250-300 is not a bad price from a shop... and nice rims, they look real sharp..

they have alot of overhead cost, rent, supply, insurance, but the process is very simple. I've seen it! Just support one of our guys and get a good feeling of comraderie, its priceless.

nice wheels....I have had the hyperblack CSLs in mind for a while.
The pics always show them to be darker. I'd love to have a closer look at them, are you coming to the meet? I think I'm leaning more towards a gunmetal finish, I love how my 159s look with a thin sheen of brake dust, certainly goes well with SG.
