If you thought fuel injectors were expensive for your e9x

After having had to go & pick up one of our carpenters after the transit he was driving sprang a coolant leak yesterday, my Navara decided to lose most of its power, it was like the turbo had stopped working but after turning it of & back on again it ran ok.
When I got back to the office I rang our garage & they told me to drop it round & they'd read the codes. So yesterday afternoon they rang & said that they suspected it was faulty injectors, told me that they'd taken them out & sent them off for testing.
so they called back today to say that it needs new or
refurbished injectors. I will find out how much it's going to cost tomorrow.

So out of curiosity I've just had a look on ecp & they are £455 each add in the discount code & it works out at £1508 including a £288 surcharge, I thought they'd be maybe £100-£150 each. After all its only an old 4 pot Nissan diesel. I'm glad I won't be paying for it.

It makes injectors for the 35i seem reasonable at £217 each...other than they would be needing six of them but still cheaper than the Nissan. Who'd have thought it

on the topic of the n54 injectors, didn't somebody on here find that you could buy a set of 6 for ~500 quid through Cotswold bmw?

Japanese parts are usually crazy prices. Not surprised.

Ok that's crazy pricing. Maybe they aren't very common so more expensive. 35i ones are seriously mass produced due to the on going issues so cost to produce is less.

Yeah but it's just under £600 I think. Ask on their for sale thread.
