DCT Shudder after fluid change
Hi All,
I have a '09 N54 335i with DCT and 80,000klms (50,000 miles) and I have just had the dct fluid, pan and mechatroncis pan replaced by a reputable indy as they both had a slight leak. They used Liqui-Moly DCT fluid. After I had this done, I have noticed that when the engine is cold, the car occasionally shudders as I am taking my foot off the brake to take off. It has happened every day since but only once maybe twice in the morning, usually when I am on a slight incline taking off. It is not bad at this stage, only happens for maybe half a second. I have done some research on the forums and it looks like most people attribute this to clutch wear? Or even spilling fluid on the flywheel? I am just wondering if this could be related to the service I had done? If it is related I would just like to know some possible reasons or what (if anything) they could have done wrong so when I go back they dont try and pull the wool over my eyes. Perhaps they didn't fill it up enough? Thanks in advance!
