Dealer visit
So had my car throw the 2BDE code for high pressure too low. Car has an apt at the dealer in a few weeks for blower motor recall. Going to see if that code is enough to warranty the fuel pump. Do I need to clear mhd completely or just flash to stage 0? My car has a catless downpipe so the check engine will come up for that but other than that there's nothing else to do right? Just want to make sure they don't have a reason not to warranty the pump

Just FYI: flashing MHD to stage 0 or removing it will clear your HPFP codes, and for any warranty to cover it, the codes need to be present when the car is at the dealer (unfortunately a screenshot of a code reader usually isn't enough to prove that replacement is necessary, especially for an official BMW warranty). So if you do flash back to stock, you'll want to wait until the codes reappear to bring it in. Of course this could be right away so that might not be an issue. Also, when I got those HPFP codes, both the pump and high pressure fuel sensor were replaced. The sensor is not covered under the CA emissions warranty. My 2011 is covered (except maintenance and cosmetic items) until May 2022 / 125k miles.
