Switching from 19" to 18"
So for almost a year I've been running 19" VMR V710's on KW V1 coilovers, tucked in the rear pretty low. It's been an incredibly uncomfortable ride, and I wore out the shock mounts in the rear very quickly doing this. Over the weekend I switched to 18" BBS RGR's on Pirelli A/S Plus tires and it's a night and day difference. I guess the stretched tire look on 19's just isn't for me, I still like that look but I finally enjoy driving my car again with this setup
I've got spacers on the way to fix the sunken in offset with this setup, but the car feels much more agile on the BBS's! Plus I've got 1/2 inch more sidewall on all 4 corners, and I raised the rear suspension up from tucked to ~2 finger width. Excuse how dirty my car looks...it's winter in Maryland!
