I will miss them... My inspection is due and I am just getting tired of swapping them in and out. It's just too much hassle at this point in my life. My usual place (guy) is no longer working at the inspection place.

Damn dude. Why not get a software tune that keeps one of the monitors ready? Or do they do a sniffer test where you are?

I have the tune.. 3 of them actually. several BPC variations and latest AA tunes.

For whatever reason, shops started performing visual inspection. Usually, they would see secondaries and overlook headers, but last 2 times they were assholes. Went to 3 different shops, and they all did the same thing. Not sure if 1st guy made some note or something.

Was it the cats that they noticed (or didn't see)? For headers, ours are pretty tucked and don't have as much polished/ceramic/whatever bling options that other tuners had.

...though I suppose the sound would have tipped them off to do a look-see.

Car is stock looking. The mechanic followed 02 sensor wires and after he failed me, he said that O2 sensors were too close to each other. He knew what he was looking for / at. I think it was just bad luck.

Should be the same. Headers don't go below axles. Right now, I can swap them out in less than 2 hours.

Well it's supposed to come out week after next anyway... But the Z4 has surgery in January for a right fender and headlight...
