Used Watch retail stores?
Ive been looking online for some watches i really like the panerai watches but i dont want to spend 7-10k on it and i also dont want to buy offline i like to see things before i buy them. Are there any stores that sell used watches?

I believe Tourneau does but may not have what you are looking for.
http://www.tourneau.com/ There is on in the Burlington Mall. http://www.simon.com/mall/tenantdeta...id=61182&cid=9

Who says I have a $5K+ watch. I just drool over them when I pass by the nice watches at the mall. I love watches but I cannot justify spending that much unless I am filthy rich. Plus, there are so many other things that I would want for the money like a nicely modified track bike!

True but at least you know they are authentic whereas some smaller used watch places may not be. I have to believe that there are places right in downtown Boston. I would perform a yelp search.

Ha, I feel the same way compared to a lot of the people on here with tons of other cars and stuff. I wear a $120 Skagen watch - cheap, looks good, keeps time.

Check this page from time to time. They are a reputable used (and new) watch seller and they authenticate everything. Any store willing to sell a $42,500 used watch certainly knows their stuff. You'll see PAMs show up every now and then. |

Accordingly, I do have two "replica" Panerai watches. They look good and keep time well. I always tell people that it is replica if the comment on the watch. I do own two genuine watches that I like a lot: For under $500 you can get a nice TW Steel watch. I went with a TW5: My other watch is a much more expensive German watch from UTS: http://www.utswatches.com Here is a picture of the now discontinued model that I own: I bought this about 8 years ago for around $1k very lightly used. I know you want a local place, but if you are willing to go mail order/web, this is a very good dealer that a few of my friends have purchased from and highly recommend:
http://www.watchuwant.com/ http://www.watchuwant.com/panerai The store owner's name is OJ. George

I was just about to refer him to that store. They have used Panerais from time to time. I am still trying to find a local Panerai 112, new. edit: if you have the time and are really dying for a PAM, surf the watchuseek forums, they have some nice ones up there all the time. Paneristi is a good forum to check out as well. |

Where did you get your replica panerai from?
I have a replica too but i cant get it wet and im scared it will break eventually but it does look perfect. It ticks so loud too lol I know a real cost alot but at the same time the value doesnt go down much so its not a total loss of money. I also like how i can change the bands so people will think its a different watch Quote:

I totally agree with you on the cost/value situation with Panerai watches. I like changing watch straps also. I have three or four different types (alligator, ostrich, etc...) and I like to rotate them - it makes it feel like I have a new watch every time I switch!
I've had my Panerai replica for almost 10 years now and I honestly can't remember who I bought it from. I know it was from an importer in Canada, but I can't recall his name. My younger brother bought one about a year ago from one of the main replica sites, but its quality is nowhere near the one I have. Sorry that I couldn't be more helpful. George

I'm pretty darn sure Tourneau carries Panerai since I did get one from there.
Just an FYI they are slightly overpriced but you can totally bargain with them on pricing, I got a good deal on my Tag Carrera & PAM111 but that was @ a location in Socal. Def save up and get the watch you like. Totally worth it.

your right they sell them only some of them do. The one in burlington mall doesnt i know the one in copley does i have to take a trip and see what they have. I think i would rather buy used i feel that it will lose less value that way plus its cheaper.

Maybe it depends on location? The one in Burlington doesn't carry any pam models
