**gauging interest** FS:DT uk CRD-t for a 335d
The above will be up for sale in the next few weeks or so-maybe sooner.
It will eventually go on e-bay,but I thought I'd see if there was any interest here first. DT uk are selling these units, which retail at £445.95 normally,to forum members for £366. The unit that I'm selling, will increase mpg-but more importantly, will boost power to 340bhp and 700nm of torque!!! Fitting and removal is very easy and no codes will be thrown up by it's installation. Comes complete with all instructions and cables. The only thing MISSING,is one of the small four screws that hold the unit together. You have to open the box to change maps and one of the screws fell into the engine bay. This in no way affects the rigidity of the box. Also, the packaging box is ripped on one corner!!! It was bought from a forum member in December 2010 and it was two months old then. I paid £250 and that's what I want back for it-this will include postage and packaging. Any opinions other than those of genuine interest, via pm please-I would prefer this thread not to detract into a "why are you selling?" or other bone questions thread-if that's in order... A link to the DT uk site is http://www.diesel-performance.co.uk/...ble.php?id=172 And there is a sticky on this site for real owners opinions... That is all! |

[QUOTE=marshyrob;10000291]Is this for a 335d only. I have a 330d E92 so was wondering if it would go on that?[/QUOTE
It's for a 286bhp,335d only,I'm afraid! |

Basically, you open up the box and select a neutral map to start-ie no map/increase in power. This gets your car in a state of readiness to test drive it andmake sure that your installation has gone ok. You then gradually increase the power/maps that the box contains to the full fat one-it's very easy! Re the rip,it's only the cardboard box that's ripped-I've now sorted this. The tuning box itself wasn't damaged-I was just being open and honest... I can still send you a pic if you like though! |

That link that I posted has the same fitting instructions that come with the unit-it's literally plug and play. The box can be attached to the front nearside headlight balast with some Velcro-all very neat! |
