/ 1 Year \ E90 LCI Before & After Pics

So today marks 1 year of owning the car and it's crazy looking at pics of when I first got it. It's been a lot of headaches, different parts, and mostly money but i'm happy with how much it has changed. I'm taking a break from modding for a bit to start saving up some money again.

I have a lip for the front that needs to be installed, and also some minor mods like spacers up front. Once those are done i'm going to be saving up for things like the clutch or a turbo upgrade in the future. After the lip and spacers are on i'm going to do a photo shoot and post a thread with the full mod list. The mod list is pretty long and looking at the amount of money on parts alone is not fun to think about. I still think it was worth it though since i'm now at the point where i'm extremely satisfied with how the car performs, looks, and drives and I think i'll be keeping it for a while. Hopefully VTT stage 3 turbos although that's probably out of my price range...

Anyways onto the pics. Comments/suggestions are always welcome even if they're negative. I'll also post up a few teaser pics of the lip. Thanks for looking

Before:

After:

Some teaser pics of the lip (keep in mind i just placed it there to get an idea of how it looks, this is not how the lip fits on the sides):

Car looks great. The angle eyes look good also. I respect how much time and money you have out into that, well done. It is nice to see a manual, a proper transmission!

Thanks, I always appreciate your comments. Especially with the silver wheels it can definitely be seen as stock. Hahaha you wouldn't believe how many people think it's an M3... I've had people say things like "holy shit nice M3" even while staring at the 335i badge... hahaha

Hahahaha thanks man. The tips completed the rear although theres still some stuff that might be done... I'm taking a break for a few months after the lip and spacers get installed but i'm sure I won't be able to keep myself away for very long. Up next potentially would be performance diffuser and VRSF exhaust but who knows. Very happy with the way the car is now and I need a break to regain some of my money

I was going to say performance diffusor and exhaust and you should be set. You have pretty much covered everything except those two. Maybe gloss black grills to go with you gloss black trim? Carbon fiber mirror caps too for sure, thats what you are really missing.

Thank you! Tried fitting that lip myself and it just wouldn't go... I'm bringing it up to the shop I use in a few weeks and giving them a shot on the lift. If they can't figure it out I have to decide between letting the body shop glue it on, or sell it and get cf splitters. Probably the latter because I would hate to have it glued then want it removed later on.

Yea after that it will be pretty much done. Other things I have considered are the DD powervented hood or some sideskirts (probably performance aero) but those would just be excess and unnecessary. I actually have the OEM gloss black grills. Switched from my plastidipped grilles a few months ago

Wrap your mirror caps in gloss black. It will go really well with the black accents on the mirror arms and the black grills. They look "off" right now

You can't drill new holes into it? You have to find a way for that beautiful lip to work.

Yea I might do that in a few weeks with some leftover vinyl. I was thinking about doing cf mirror caps but think that might be over the top with the carbon fiber... we'll see though. That's a cheap small mod so something I could do. Major stuff taking a break from

I didn't even get far enough to figure out if i need more holes on the bottom, my problem was getting the lip to fit on the bumper mostly. I would get the passenger side on with the 3m 10 lb. exterior tape then go to push the driver side and it would pop off the other. It was frustrating enough that I just gave up... Hopefully the shop can figure it out cause it does look like it will be amazing
