The ECS 2 piece discs are just too expensive unfortunately but I've found the stoptechs and they look nearly as good and are a one piece so going to go for those.

Not sure what prices you're thinking of

These guys do some nice looking discs which could be paired with some EBC Yellow Stuff pads.

They also have tons of discount codes on the go usually so you can get some decent prices.

Thanks for that link, appreciate it. The main reason for the stoptechs is the black mounting part as it kind of looks like the 2 piece from a distance !

Looks nice

They do some protective coatings in different colours which may give the same effect but probably not as neat

Cheers but I've gone for the stoptechs, I need replacement suspension as well so I've ordered brakes and suspension from the same place to get the best deal.

Spent rather a lot of money yesterday

What suspension did you end up going for?

Been pretty quiet on here for this thread, but there has been many changes to my 335i so I'll start getting some updates posted.

First thing was the interior wood trim, I convinced myself I liked it but having seen a few piano black interiors with my light coloured leather I decided this was the way to go. Finding a set of genuine 2nd hand trims seems impossible so I bought some genuine 3m gloss wrap and set about doing all the trims. I've no real experience with it but followed a few youtube vids and am really pleased with the results. I took all the vents out of the trims and took my time, a few mistakes that involved some wasted vinyl but really happy with the results.

Excellent upgrade. Piano black does look spot on for sure. At least with the wrap if any issues you can redo it. Genuine stuff can scratch easily.

Well another few jobs done now, got the KW Street Comforts fitted at TWG the other week and I have nothing but good things to say ride pretty similar, slightly firmer at low speed but totally fine and the sharpness in turn in and damping composure, not to mention looks is well worth it.

Then over the weekend I fitted new discs and pads which was long overdue and refurbed the calipers. Pretty pleased with the results.

Looking good FM.

I loved my Oyster and piano black trim in my 335i. Great combo. Painting the calipers always makes a huge difference. Nice work!

these are fantastic cars (I have a 6MT too) and the horror stories about costliness to maintain are a bit scaremongery, there are so few of these things, grab one while you can.
