Need clear film proctection for front lip

Anyone know someone that will do just a front lip (clear film)? Can be any brand...3m, suntek, etc

Not going back to UCC cuz they been very unreasonable to me but thats another story.

Whats the story? Reason being I'm getting my a full noise wrap next week by them. Was it bad workmanship? PM me if needed

Whats the story? Reason being I'm getting my a full noise wrap next week by them. Was it bad workmanship?

No they do awesome job but make sure you ask them to do that lol

My first install was awful so I posted here (f30 forum) just to get an idea if thats how its suppose to be. Then GM of xpel just so happen to be on the board and I guess he called UCC about my situation...not my fault

They reinstalled it and I had a small bubble issue few months later, pm Rick and he ignored me

Yea so just make sure you guys talk about the install in person

I highly recommend you talk to Rick the installer and not Rick the owner (the person on the phone)

Member that does wraps and clear bras. Very nice work from what I've seen done

I still don't understand clear bras. They get knicked they turn white and or look bad. Cost way too much imo. I just don't get why people pay to install them.

Just repaint your bumper if it gets bad, it's like 3 hundo.

New films stay clear unlike the old days. Your car stays new 24/7. Rock chips bother me and I cant repaint every year

Well someone just posted how they got a rock chip and the clear bra turned white in the NE. I assumed he used quality stuff.

Right it cant protect everything coming your way but its better than nothing

I agree they cost alot of money, most places want $800-$2000. The film itself its worth <$200.

Anyways I needed for the CF front lip, film is the only way to go

I wrote UCC off too. Had a problem within a week of the install. Never going back.

Let us know who you use and how it goes.

I just got it done by UCC yesterday. Looks clean, however I will report back next week once its fully cured. Maybe they took notice of the complaints?..

They are definitely the way to go. Clear bras are meant to absorb some of the impact, but it's not going to keep your bumper safe from a moose. Not meant to be permanent either, usually 4-6 years.

If your bumper repaint costs less than a clear bra, you'll have paint chips just by looking at it wrong.

I have the XPEL Ultimate from the owner which traded bumpers with me, and it makes life so much easier and more consistent. Next car, the entire front end will have the clear bra, and the rest a glass coating like CQuartz.
