Says Delaware in the name section. Very small state used to live in Dover so can drive anywhere in less than and hour.

Another N55 bites the dust

Are you sure it’s rod knock? I had almost the same spec a couple years ago with a horrible noise when cold. It was way worse than lifter tick. I thought it was rod knock for sure but the noise wasn’t there when the engine was warm. I used a set of chassis ears and found the noise was clearly coming from the head.

Unfortunately, I never solved the noise but the motor wasn’t trash. Actually it ran great.

Don’t give up until you get a second opinion. These cars are great!

I remember that car but rod knock on N55 is extremely common. I don't think the upper engine issue yours had is common at all.
