Late to the Party!!

Hi everyone...I just had a quick question/concern. My car has 74k miles on it and I am getting ready to start modding it. Has anyone started to mod their car with this many miles on it or more?
I have seen numerous guys with cars that have higher mileage but they have been FBO and so forth for a while now. Just curious if I should just save up for a replacement engine with less miles and spend my money on modding that instead of one with this many miles on it. Any input is greatly appreciated.

As long as the car has been regularly maintained (oil changes, spark plugs, ignition coils, intake valve cleaning), then it's ready to go FBO!

If you're really THAT concerned, get a compression test done & have a tuning shop (like Active Autowerkes) give it a once over before you start.

I have about 97k with no issues. Only had to replace one coil when I first installed the cobb at 83k.

Thanks for the piece of mind. Since most of the parts will be replaced (Intercooler, turbos, etc) my main concern was the internals and so on. I appreciate the responses guys!

If it's been stock & nothing's gone wrong over the past 74k, there's nothing to worry about
