What's the consensus on springs? BMW PS Yellow's vs. Dinan...anybody even have the Dinan's, I know a few of us have the yellow springs and like them, I'm thinking of going the same route...Turner of course suggests matching them with Bilstein due to longevity but the Koni's sound very appealing still. Thoughts?

Pretty much the same step as mines, minus the outlets. I have the Stage 2 pump with the bucket. Lol

I'm thinking of going with Dinan with Bilsteins. I'm going to call Dinan on Monday to see what informaiton I can get out of them on their spring rates.

But when it comes down to it, I think that if you go with Dinan of BMW PS, you probably can't wrong. Both are most likely going to design the springs so that the daily-drive capabilties of the car are not compromised.

As for Koni vs. Bilstein, this is some good information: http://farnorthracing.com/autocross_secrets18.html

The adjustablity for Koni Yelows does not really mean anything to me. I've had them before, and once I get them set, I'll leave it. And I would want top-adjustable rears. That means Dinan or TC Kline Shocks, which means more $$$$$.

You know I couldn't even think of that, the fact that possibly 2 koni's set to 1/2 a turn wouldn't equate equally to both of them being set exactly the same rebound level.

Mind made up, going with BMW yellows and Bilstein B8. Thanks.

Just got my next car! Well Just been informed from my dealer that my bid for a 2013 335is from Georgia got taken! So in a couple of weeks it will be shipped up to Connecticut!! I can not wait to drive this beauty! Here are some pics from the auction site. I will obviously post up more pics when i clean it up and get it all ready!!! It literally has all the options I wanted except heated seats. Going to clean the wheels and make them silver again. I also can't wait to try out the DCT. I am coming from a 2007 328xi so this is going to be soo much fun!

Yes I definitely will be checking everything on it. Anything in particular I should be looking at? I paid for an auction insurance so if something isn't right I can return it after inspection.

Well for one those wheels are aftermarket so I would've had the dealer put oem back on or take the cost off. Check suspension, exhaust and examine engine bay, maybe in particular the dme area. OH and there is a recall out for some of our cv axle joints... don't know your MY but if check that. Also the injectors and frm module are under recall so maybe mention that tip the dealer so they don't tri and take advantage of you later on

Thanks for the tips! I will check into those when I get it inspected. The wheels seem to be 19" 313m wheels but just plastic dipped or painted black. The picture I posted might not be the best quality but the ones I have you can tell they are 313s

What size Exhaust tips will fit our cars? My guess is 4" but I would like to confirm.

Got the bmw ps yellow springs guys, those of you with them... did I make the right choice? What shocks/ struts you match them with, any regrets? I'm thinking going with b8's

I have the BMW PS springs and shocks, got lucky and found a used set with 500 miles on them. I love them matched up with the full M3 upgrade (front, rear, frt sway) and black Powerflex rear sub bushings. Lowers the car just a bit more which is plenty for me. Handles extremely well without being uncomfortable. I don't do autox or road courses so I don't need anything extreme. With a good set of max performance summer tires the car is a totally different (better) machine.

Never ever ever buy sht online like that without first paying $150 for an independent inspector to come in and go over the car top to bottom. they send you a report with grading for everything right down to tire tread.

Yea I just scored the springs bnib from a forum member, pretty happy. I thought I remembered you had the PS but didn't know you had the full kit LMB.
You're the first I've heard liking the PS shocks, everyone else I've read complains of them being underdamped which is why I was at Bilstein or Koni. So far all else I have are whiteline subframe inserts, good enough for dd right now. Probably Eibach or Dinan front sway and M3 front arms to come.
