Question Mounting a Tablet in 335i....ideas?

I finally got my MHD wifi adapter in so that I can use my tablet to monitor gauges, and log runs. I’ve using a Samsung Tab A6. It’s a 7.0” tablet, so it’s not huge…and just big enough to get a good view of 6 gauges.

I’d like to mount the tablet above the stereo, right where the top vents come out of the dash.

What’s the best way to mount this thing to the car so that it looks clean, will hold it nice and secure, and not damage the dash if I never want to remove the mount?

Any info would be great! Thanks!!

I don't know if this idea will help but I mounted an Ipad on mine.

I put two magnetic mounts on the driver cupholder and when it's extended I can magnetic mount it to this, if I close the cupholder my passenger now has an Ipad in front of them. Pretty nifty. I have the media hump so I can't put it above my vents, unfortunately. I toyed with also putting it below the stereo, again using magnetic mounts, sort of in front of the shifter.

I like the idea. I just with I could see what I'm getting for $95. I'm wondering if I could make something like that??

it's been copied. it's a bent piece of metal that the trim holds in place.

Does anyone have pictures of this clip? I want to see pictures of it and how the tablet mounts before I buy, but I cannot find any.
