How to enjoy a BMW in the Greater Ft. Lauderdale area?

Hey everybody. I'm posting about this because I was considering getting a BMW, but it seems that the best part about owning a BMW is using it on winding roads and feeling the smooth and responsive turning.

Also the torque from a dead stop seems like an improvement over other cars is something people have been saying. With that said, Greater Ft. Lauderdale is pretty much all a grid system with long stretches between major intersections. All roads are straight and if you're not on a main road you're on a highway, which is where I can see the smooth power coming in.

But is south florida just not the best place to own a BMW? Want to hear others' opinions before I go for it even though I love how they look.

If a BMW is what makes you feel good when you drive, then by all means go out and get one. Are there better roads outside of South FL? Heck yes, but I still enjoy driving them down here. Also, there is a BMW CCA branch down here somewhere, though I don't participate.

Eh Orlando's the same and I still love it. Life finds a way. You'll find the best on/off ramps and interchanges to tear up, and be comfortable on any cruise (albeit in a straight line)

Google "Drive Florida". They scout the best roads in FL then host multiple rallies per year. They're a lot of fun.
