Engine light will not go
Hi everyone,
I have a BMW 320d coupe 2 litter, 2010. The engine light will just not go off for like 5 months now. I have put soooo much money into this car and i went through so many mechanics and I honestly do not know what to do anymore. I have changed crankshaft pulley, new belt, new glow plugs, cleaned EGR, new water pump, injectors changed, cleaned exhaust. Now the codes are the following: 4560 Rail pressure 41E7 Oxygen sensor 4CF3 Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor What else do I have to buy or do so the engine light goes of my dashboard? After every visit mechanic turns it off and it comes back on in couple of hours. |

4560 - rail pressure sensor - plausibility - pressure too low: could be a fault with the sensor or the rail pressure regulator, or the HPFP. Ideally you could log the rail pressure and post it here so we can diagnose.
41E7 - lambda sensor - open circuit: check wiring to lambda sensor. Replace sensor if no wiring faults found. 4CF3 - DPF - plausibility - exhaust gas pressure: check wiring to exhaust gas pressure sensor, replace sensor if no wiring faults found. Also check the tube between the DPF and the sensor for any damage. One thing is for sure; just clearing those codes will never keep the CEL off for long! Good luck |

Have you done any of what I posted above?
Personally I wouldn't give you £4k for it with a clean bill of health...but maybe it's worth more than I think. |
