I need an answer to this too, I will let you know what I end up with. I am not a fan of OEM dust so I want to try something different. i'm looking for something good and not expensive and not for track use.

I went with R1Concepts slotted rotors and EBC red stuff pads. Also did a flush with ATE type 200 fluid. I'm happy with everything. R1Concepts has some good stuff, they are not to be overlooked in my opinion. Picture below was a before/after shot of a brake overhaul I did when I had first bought the car.

EBC pads aren't exactly cheap but all in all about $450 for the parts.

I'm loving the EBC red stuff. I had them on my 135i in the past. For my driving style, it's a great balance between performance and dust. Rarely get any squeal.

I bought R1 rotors and pads and the rotors warped during the break in period (followed their instructions to the letter). R1 offered to replace them if a shop could verify the warping, but my idiot shop just turned them and didn't comment on the receipt they warped, so no replacements as of yet.

After turning though, they seem to be pretty awesome, so it could have been a fluke in manufacturing or just some weird burn in beyond my comprehension. Overall, they stop like the dickens, and my only other complaint is that when really cold out, they are incredibly grabby. once warmed up though, very predictable. I paid around $400 for rotors/pads. Got the black coated ones fwiw

Depending on your budget and what you're looking for specifically there are some brake rotor / pad and line combos available in the vendor sections/sites.

Unless something is cheaper, just get OEM-spec blanks. Zimmerman Z-Coats, Brembo, etc. Usually places like Pelican Parts or FCPEuro list a few vendors and pick whatever the cheapest OEM spec rotor is.

Pads, the OEM-spec Textar pads dust a fair bit but they're also great, cheap pads. I've heard good experiences with Akebono, but I've also heard people hate them. YMMV, but Textar pads work great. Just clean your wheels ha.
