Did you try GetBMWParts? https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...mp-13517616446

Any reason why you're looking at 13517616446 instead of 13517616170 (other than price)? 13517616170 is the one currently listed for N55.

Looks like 446 is the remanufactured version that BMW produced a ton of as the replacement pump for the huge N54 HPFP recall, while 170 is the latest new, non-reman version.

10/10 would recommend GetBMWParts.

There are ZERO OEM "NEW" HPFP's out there. ALL of them are re-manufactured....

This isn't particularly surprising, E9x is soon going to be 2 generations old so it doesn't make sense for BMW to continue to manufacture new fuel pumps when they can buy back (core deposits)/recycle/remanufacture older pumps for less cost and resource use.

A word of advice whoever is installing. You NEED to have the long allens for 3/8 drive. Without them you cannot remove the pump with intake on. I was able to replace the pump with intake on but its a little tricky with even the right tools.

Removing the intake manifold makes the job probably alot easier.

FCP Euro has the pump now in stock. On their site the pump is listed as "Does not fit" for n55. This is not true. The pump works with early n55 continnental pumps. E90 N55. So they also sell the gasket kit with the pump with. These gaskets are for n54 and did not work. These are the throttle body and intake manifold. Throttle body is def different. Intake looks different but i am not 100 percent since i did not remove the intake manifold.

The o-ring type intake manifold gaskets are the same between N54 and N55.

So is it running much better now? Any noticable difference between now that you've replaced the pump and before you noticed any problems at all? Is it handling your fueling needs?
