Paddle shifter upgrade using stock paddle assembly

I just finished a paddle upgrade on my 2007 335i using a kit from Nelson Racing Wheel. With this kit you keep your existing paddle assembly but disassemble and replace the paddle portion with a new one that allows for M3/aftermarket paddles. Fairly easy install and works great.

it was under a hundred dollars when I bought mine, but that was two years ago.

they've held up fine for 40K miles in my car.

I’ll post a picture of mine.
Got them from amazon and just stuck them on the back of the original paddle and cut off the top tabs of the original paddles to hide them.

The V2 paddles look awesome! I have the V1 paddles and love them but they're not nearly as nice as yours.

Thanks. I originally went with the V1 paddles off their older website but exchanged for the V2's. They were $189 without the Tritium inserts that illuminate the + - on the paddle. I was originally looking at the stick on paddles but after seeing this I had to try it. I did not think that they would make the driving experience that much better but I have to say I wish I had done this long ago. It really is fun now manually shifting using the paddles. So much easier to use.
