Highway Patrol on 73 N

FYI,

Twice in 2 days in the morning I have seen a Highway Patrol on the 73 N right where the tollbooth is.

Monday morning there was traffic so I don't think he was using his radar gun, today my V1 was going off. I'm sure he's watching for people who don't have plates and don't use their transponder also.

Oh, I've seen several people pulled over, so it's just not one cop. Seems like it's crackdown time. WalkedU recently got a ticket there.

i've gotten a ticket for speed and one for tints on the 73 toll road and usually always mind my speed and manners on the toll road.......its just covered with motorcycle cops and cruisers. I hear they get paid more to patrol toll roads.

Got a ticket on the 73 S last month at Bison.

CHP on a Beemer with radar gun.

87 in a 65.

Back to traffic school!

I've noticed traffic cops have really come out in the last month or two around the OC.

If you go through the cash booth, with a transponder, it charges your transponder, so you are paying double

Thanks for the warning!

A word to those that travel the 15 frequently, they are cracking down in 2008

Signonsandiego.com:
California Highway Patrol officers will begin saturating the Interstate 15 corridor from the Nevada state line to northern Riverside County Wednesday in an attempt to curb speeding, drunken driving and unrestrained passengers.

The effort will also involve aircraft, said Officer Mario Lopez of the CHP's Inland Division.

CHP statistics show that 136 people died in 6,988 traffic crashes on Interstate 15 between northern Riverside County and the Nevada state line over a one-year period between 2006 and 2007. Another 3,935 people were injured in those accidents, Lopez said.
