I'm telling you, if you can get it to hook up the same in better air, thats mid 11s easy.

My best run along side my dragy of the same pass, then I used the TRC app DA calculator to see what it would run in decent air, not sure thats spot on but id be happy with a halfway improvement in better conditions;

2009 335i e90 xdrive auto
-PSP 750
-MHD e40 OTS map
-XHP stage 3
-no secondary cats, stock downpipes
-full weight, with kid car seat, 1/2 tank of fuel and 360lb driver on michelin run flats
not sure what version of the OTS map you are using but it should be very easy to break into the 11s if you load the V5 e40 ots map, my friend just hit 11.89 with just bolt-ons on that tune last week, few 11.9 runs as well. V5 map targets around 21 psi.

Its less the track itself, but milan is physically about 500ft closer to sea level, so that will automatically help

No matter which we go to, they are going to have good days and bad days, with good days being inherently closer to or into late fall.

Lots of time left in your setup, trust

Thats the tune im on. Its much faster with less DA. This car has been in the 11s with a lesser tune with the dragy on a 300ft DA day. Air was so thin I was having trouble getting it up on boost on the line, normally never a problem.

Brake boost about 2000+ rpm. Oh and you need better tires for the i. Not a 300 treadwear lol.
Heres a 0-60 log,

Note the pedal, throttle, speed and rpm.

Thanks, got new rear tires ordered(toyo r888r) and will give it another shot at the track. One more question, those who have the correct tire and can hook hard in 1st gear with rwd, do you still recommend starting in 2nd gear still?

yes, start in 2nd, even if u cut a 1.5 1.6 60 foot in first, the shift from 1-2 will still take 0.3 0.4 0.5... so start in 2nd

Are you guys limiting boost in 2nd gear? Or running full boost? I installed new tires and still spinning in 2nd gear. I'm trapping 117mph, so that should be good for high 11's if I can hook.

i dont limit boost in 2nd, if you dont have the tire for it, ease into it until it hooks, then floor it.

Ok, I will try that next time. I'm really disappointed on my tire purchase. I thought I did my research enough and went with toyo r888r's. But then again, maybe I should warm them up? I went around the burnout pit.

Anyways, here is my log from the track. You can see that 2nd gear is spinning up to 5700rpm, then gets traction.

I dont know much of that tire, but know one that works.
Its surprising doesn't have traction, at those boost levels ( while still building boost).

its not gonna hurt if u warm them up a bit , at least clean them off and get a bit of heat in them

Well I finally broke 11's! I played around with my 2nd gear torque limit settings in order to get traction off the line and it worked. Ran 11.82 at 117mph. I maybe able to cut another 2 tenths off with a custom tune, but happy with my run. Here is my log from that race. Also Thanks to Silent11N54 and Sgop335 for your help.

solid time !!! 1.83 is the best 60 i have cut as well, my tranny doesnt like launches with drag radials so thats giving me issues but great time overall.

since u already cut a 1.8 to shave another 2 tenths you will need a solid bump in power to get to 119-120 mph

Good luck

Nice job getting in the 11's. I think it is a little to cold for me to try this year but I know it will happen next year with my new turbos on the way.

You're a set of tires away as it sits.

But that won't be until sometime next year.

No tires are all you need, well and maybe prep.

If you go on a day where they are running something other than test and tune, the prep will be there

Ahh yes, the current setup, but I mean after the new turbos go on. Will need more traction for sure.

That's awesome. My issue is being a DCT car. Launch control will roast the tires or just mash the pedal and wait for spool. 60' is hard to get quick with DCT.
Great job btw.

Can I ask you how much your time improved going from v5 E40 OTS tune to your custom E50 tune? Also at what point did you add inlets? When you went with a custom tune? What was your best time running the V5 E40 OTS tune? I would like to hit an 11.6 run at 118-119MPH with just an E40 custom tune, but I think that maybe pushing it.
