I was actually just cleaning up the garage getting ready for another engine build and came across the box the turbo came in. I found this documentation that I didn't even know was in there... my TRITDT turbo came with a Kinugawa authenticity tag and inventory tracking system. It also came with the print-out of the 100,000rpm balance for the serialized turbo. I haven't seen anyone get such documentation with a VTT turbo. Last edited by bbnks2; 06-24-2019 at 10:28 AM.. |

Might look into this. Just scared of putting the compressor component into the turbofold still on the car. How much clearance do I have sliding the turbine in the housing?

Both Dinan and VTT have install instructions available. I did it with the engine out so I can't comment but it's obviously doable. Clearance? never met her...
