Boost Pressure Solenoid / Wastegate Actuator updated version

From realoem, 11747649407 (2012+) supersedes 11747626351 (up to 2011), does that mean it'll fit 2011 BMW 335i N55??

Both parts are identical and most likely the same. Does it matter if it's pneumatic or electronic wastegate N55 (E series or F series?) I'm thinking newer part with updated/better quality of the item? Obviously it costs more.

Just for peace of mind, can anyone confirm both parts are the same before I make my purchase? Thanks in advance.

The 11747649407 can be used in the 2011, but you are paying double the price. Electronic wastegate cars don't have any boost solenoids.

Thanks for pointing it out. I always think newer part number means updated/better part. I guess there's no point paying double in price.

I cant even get the bottom nut off. I moved the coolant reservoir which kind of helped. Ive been using a 3/8 10mm. Should I try a 1/4 10mm?

Did you remove the intake? Bottom nut is the same as the top and 3/8 is what I use. Might need a small extension.

I had to use 1/4 with the long socket. If you have fragment of magnet, drop it in the long socket. Definitely be careful with the bottom nut.

1/4 with the shortest extension and regular socket may not work (too long)

Are you talking about the second part of the intake that goes down to the ?inlet? I see a torx screw on the deeper end and then there's the pcv pipe/snorkel thing near the top of the engine

He's talking about the bottom nut of the boost solenoid.
