I have had my 15’ MBP for a couple of weeks now and there is no denying it is a great piece of kit, treated myself (macbook) to a Paul Smith case for it – Well Cool
The problem is I only really use it for web surfing, photos etc and I feel that I am only scratching the surface of what the machine can do. I almost want a little project to do so I can familiarise myself with the thing. I might even go to one of the apple stores and have a bit of tuition as I have heard good things about them. I have say in-front of a pc for 15 years and feel a bit institutionalised, need to break free from the chains - any advice ? |

Good choice :-)
I got an imac at Christmas as I have been so impressed by my iphone and I wished I had bought a mac much sooner as they are so much nicer and faster to use that pcs. Its also amazing how many people thing only a certain type of folk go for macs. If you need office they seem to have the keys available on youtube of all places :s Everytime you put a service pack on though it checks the serial. Im using a cool wee app for it called bumptop which gives you a 3d desktop where you can literally throw icons and files about and put pictures up on the walls, stack files in piles etc. Quite cool and free to try I got my imac brand new for £850 with the student discount so not really that expensive in comparison to a decent pc |
