Still getting codes! HELP!
So about 2 weeks ago I was getting multiple codes and had a bad oil leak, which I figured was the valve cover since I had replaced the VCG about a month ago. I had my mechanic replace the valve cover and the eccentric shaft sensor since I was getting fault codes for that too. I thought fixing these issues would make codes 29E0 and 29E1(mixture control: running lean) go away but they are still there. The car has been running well but these past couple days its been a little shaky when cold and it feels like something is bumping around inside. today when I went to start it up and it blew a small cloud of white smoke out, I'm not sure what its from but is there anyway this is a cause of the mixture control code? I'm not sure where else to go from here since different forums say different things. My car is stock and at 106,000 miles. I love my car but I'm starting to get really frustrated with the multiple expenses I've had already
If anyone has some thoughts about what I could, I would greatly appreciate! I'm going to try and do whatever I can to fix it but if not I may have to end up selling it since my parents got me the car and I'm starting to think I won't be able to afford the future expenses since I'm still in college |
