well..if you guys are serious about it...here's what I propose:
at least 20 people, $15 each or 10 people $25 each $10-20 for purchase cost, $4-5 for shipping and DVDs (I know media mail is at least 2.20 + the cost of the DVD) For international, it'll be more on the shipping.

Why not just 10 people pitch and we all seed the damn thing? Hell give me the money and I'll put the ISO on a FTP server.

Yes, some cars have it. The 2008's being sold now probably still have 2008.1 version but some may have 2009.1 version. Buyers just have to bug the stealer to supply the new version.

Sorry, I guess my sentence wasn't clear enough for you. I should have said that the 2008's probably have the 2008.1 DVD but if you bug the stealer, you should get the 2009.1 version like this person who posted on X5world...
I got my 2008 E70 about 6 days ago, the DVD in the nav system was the old ver. (2008-1) when I insisted on the recent release (2009-1) the stealer coughed up a copy for no charge on the spot. He only gave me the new release DVD when he felt he was going to lose the sale altogether, but did not fail to mention that it was $ 200.00 he is losing on this sale.... (hard to believe..). I am suppose to feel sorry for him. |

If one of the new X5 owners makes an iso and seed it, that would be great; if not I think about $10 - $15 per person is fair for a bunch of people to pitch in and buy a 2009.1 disc, make an iso and then we can all make our copies by downloading it. |

Well I guess I'll start the list of who wants to pitch in $10 for a 2009.1 disc. If you all want I'll handle the purchasing of the disc and make copies for who wants them. Just pay for your own shipping. I get DVD discs for practically free, so just pay for shipping and were golden. I can seed a torrent if that works best or put it up on a fast FTP server, either way you'll get your copy.

Thanks Humtek for genuinely trying to help, and by doing this.
I started this thread, but I will have to pass on this - please don't flame me, but I'm just not comfortable participating in this - I will pay for my own copy for the 2010 version maybe (I got the 2005 version when I bought the car, and I upgraded recently to the 2008.1) Good luck anyway! |

I searched on google for "download bmw navigation dvd 2009.1" and it shows up on the search results with a link to www.torrentportal.com. I am at work and can't open the link. I see a date of Oct 16 and file size of 4.08 GB.
Can any of you guys verify this? |
