I've just ordered a 328xi coupe with $1100 over invoice. I'd like to get everyone's input to make sure that everything looks legit.

Here are the details of this deal:

328xi coupe with sports package and premium audio

invoice price $35,585
selling price $36,685
Destination $775
MACO+training $430
Appearance package $189
Doc fee $58.48
New plates $143
Sales Tax (9%) $3447.37

Using 07's residual of 61% for a 36 month term and Owner's Choice interest rate of 6.25%, and with $0 down, the monthly payment come out to $664.31.

I tried hard but unsuccessfully to get the dealer to remove MACO & training. The appearance package (mats & stuff) is a condition to drop from $1300 to $1100 over invoice.

Does everything looks right to you guys?

I got my 07 328i in March for $360 over invoice. You can get the "mats and stuff" free at most dealers if you negotiate with them a bit more.

There's only one dealer in the Chicago area that charges 189 for the appearance package ( is this supposed to be gas and detail ? )it's included everywhere else.Your purchase price is very low for our market !

in canada, i paid $700 UNDER invoice. but then again we pay more money for our cars than in the US, like $10,000 more than your MSSP!!!

i think that 1100 over invoice is a bit much,, just my opinion. im taking care of paying reg. fees and taxes upfront, maybe 1000 down pymt. pymt should be in the 520s. Thats what im hoping for at least.

I agree that the apperance package is pure dealer profit. My negotiated selling price was initially $1300 over invoice. For some odd reason my salesperson insisted that I get the appearance package. In order to convince me to get it, he voluntarily dropped the selling price to $1100 over invoice.

So think of this as a $1300 over invoice deal, with free mats, detailing, gas, and stuff.

And, Irv, I guess you know which dealer this is.
