So there is a weird thing where when I accelerate I'm anything but 1 gear it moves but about 2 seconds in rpms shoot up about 1000rpms. I smelled this weird chemical smell almost like coolant but not quite the same. I thought it was boost leak with it shooting up in rpms but I've been told on the local forum it sounds more like clutch being glazed or going out. I have videos of it acting weird. Anyways..... I can't find a do it yourself clutch replacement video because our local import shop in Pensacola quoted me at 2400$ for a replacement and I have 130,000 miles on the car, no need to spend that when I can do it myself. Anyone have a DIY or advice? Clutch selection choice?
