Quick Tasman Green Photoshoot

I rarely see anyone on here with Tasman Green, but I think its a great color. In the shade, it is very grey/charcoal, but when you get some sunlight on it, you get a fantastic emerald color. I think the color lends itself to being visually stock or stock+ due to how the color accentuates the car's curves and plays well with OEM silver wheels. What's under the hood, well, that's another story...

Sorry for the crappy iPhone shots. It was very impromptu this morning.

Wow definitely not a color you see every day. Looks great!

Thanks guys. Every time I go to buy a set of CSL wheels or aftermarket exterior piece, I look at it and realize how good it looks as-is.

Very rare color indeed. I've only seen this color once in person and it looked good.

+1 for sure Pete, this looks great as a 335 - I usually only see E90 328xis in Tasman Green. One of the best combos is Tasman on Saddle.

That's what mine is, Tasman on Saddle. Came with burlwood trim, but that was just too many shades of green/brown going on, so I wrapped it with 3m Dinoc CF and that set everything off nicely.

Thanks, but nope. The stock ones look too good on this color. I have a feeler out for some 335is wheels, but those would be the only other ones I would consider. I'm telling you, Tasman looks good as OEM or OEM+. No need to go crazy.

That's ok. Most people haven't seen it. It was only offered for 2 or 3 years, IIRC, and it wasn't very popular. Usually you see it on 328i models, its extremely rare to see it on a 335i.

I was looking for a non-white, non-silver, non-black, non-grey car. I got a call that the dealership had taken this in on trade with every option that I wanted, and jumped on it.

I love the Tasman Green and Imola Red E90 335i Sport Sedans. Very hard to find and I get excited when I see one in person.

Tasman is very subtle. I have always wanted a green BMW with carbon fiber accents! Nice taste man.

A few more tasmin green photos... 2009 E91 with saddle brown leather...
It has different shades of green - grey depending on the lighting. Reminds me of a slate green color.

New wheels are OEM plus. Trust me. My car is as OEM plus as you can get. Your ride will look 10x better with 19s rather than the wheel gap you have now with those stock 18s. I'm not talking about doing anything "crazy". It's a simple mod that delivers the best results you can get
