Exclamation Headlight Ballast Adaptive / Non Adaptive Question

Tried to search but couldn't find the answer.

I had a cracked adaptive xenon e92 headlight, i bought a new xenon non adaptive headlight to replace it.. i was planning on just using the same bulbs and ballast from the cracked headlight.

my question is would this work? Do adaptive and non adaptive headlight use the same ballast and bulbs?

Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure all the OEM HID on the E92 are adaptive.

All E92 headlights are adaptive xenon, at least in the US.
