Fault code reappeared after clearing with old mileage

The CEL was not actually on, but I guess the code was pending/stored. I found two wires for the DMTL to be damaged due to chafing against the fender liner. Common issue. I repaired these using wire crimps. In ISTA, the code was originally stored at 162,112km. I repaired the wires and cleared the code at 162,232km. I drove about 26 miles and read the fault code history at 162,274km. The 2A12 code reappeared but the entry mileage was 162,184km (before I repaired it). Question: I'm new to using ISTA. Looking at the fault details (attached), there was only one occurrence of the code (at 162,184km), which was before I fixed it. Why did the code reappear after clearing it? If the issue still exists, wouldn't there be another occurrence with the current-ish mileage? Attached Images
